Breaking News !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mahalo nui loa to Hawaii Governor Ige and our State Senator Mike Gabbard. They are leading the nation in wildlife trafficking and just days ago a complete "BAN ON WILDLIFE TRAFFICKING" has taken effect!!!!. My Hawaii has led the way for Endangered Species, both birds, animals, mammals, marine life for as long as I can remember. Twice a month many of us, including myself would volunteer for NOAA and we would count fish at Shark's Cove on the Northshore and keep records of certain species. The Hawaiian Islands has been said to be the capitol for Endangered Species and have always been faced with over fishing of their oceans and rivers. Poaching of our magnificent Green Sea Turtle, climate changes and environmental changes are totally taking its toll on all of our bird species and many will be facing total extinction. The most common of our fish, is the Yellowfin Tuna, and now certain species of fish and tuna's will be listed very soon. Reptiles of Hawaii and most precious is our Honu the Green Sea Turtle, and our Ea' Hawkbill. The Leatherback Turtle, LoggerHead Turtle and the most endangered is the Olive Ridley Turtle, which are not indigenous to Hawaii, but face their demise of extinction. Many different species of Turtles and Dolphins are often caught up in fisherman's nets and left to die in our oceans. Our Kohola, Humpback Whale, our Palaoa, Sperm Whale are a vanishing species in our beautiful Pacific Waters. I hope that other states and their governmental officials and agencies will take note and follow Hawaii and emulate their practices and stand up for what is right. Every state should do their do diligence in saving and protecting all wildlife animals, birds, mammals, and marine life from extinction . Extinct is forever and BRAVO MY HAWAII FOR LEADING THE WAY AND TAKING A STAND TO SAVE!!!!!
