BREAKING NEWS ASPCA HORSE ACTION TEAM... I am part of the Horse Action Team and definitely have voiced my opinion to our State Representatives through email, letters and in person. Today we received news for all our horses, that a milestone was reached in passing of the Safeguard American Food Exports. (SAFE)Act. A well known advocate for our horses, Conor Lamb (D-PA) also put his name on the dotted line. This means we have the support of over half of the House to pass this BILL.... What is the SAFE ACT?? The Safeguard American Food Exports (SAFE) Act would prohibit the slaughter of horses in the United States for human consumption, as well as the export of live horses for the same purpose. "The permissive allowance of such horsemeat used for human consumption poses a serious public health risk. The Horse Action Team are Angels of Kindness at full throttle organizing petitions, letters to all members of their teams throughout the nation. PETITIONS HELP, LETTERS, EMAIL, PHONE CALLS, WE ARE THEIR VOICE AND THEIR ONLY VOICE TO STOP THE SEVERE CRUELTY OF SLAUGHTER, FOR ALL ANIMALS. This would definitely include all our farms animals, Endangered Species and the gruesome killings of trophy hunting of these magnificent animals. BRAVO ASPCA HORSE ACTION TEAM.... WELL DONE!!!!!! Conor Lamb (D-PA) signed on as the 218th cosponsor of the House version of the SAFE Act, which signals that the bill has the support of over half of the House of Representative’s 435 members. Action: Please take a moment to say Thank You to your representative and/or senators if they have cosponsored the SAFE Act. If your representative or senators have not yet cosponsored H.R. 113 (for your representative) or S.1706 (for your senators) , please call their office and ask that they cosponsor the SAFE Act today to protect American horses from the gruesome horse slaughter industry.
