Urge China to Ban the Trade in Seal Products Dear Friend, Unfortunately, it's that time of year again. The Canadian commercial seal slaughter has started.  The good news is, the campaign to close the global markets for seal products is working. More than 35 nations have prohibited trade in seal products and prices for seal fur in Canada have crashed.  But the Canadian government won't let go of this cruel industry and now, they want China to become a dumping ground for seal products. If China says no to commercial seal products, it could be the final straw: it would be even more clear that the annual slaughter -- already subsidized -- just isn't worth it anymore.  Please join Chinese citizens in urging their government to stop the trade in products of the commercial seal slaughter..
