Updates from PETA... Some of you do not receive the updated newsletters regarding issues that are very important to all animal advocates. PETA is the largest Animal Rights Organization in the world. They focus on the animals who suffer the most, and for the longest period of time. This would include factory farming (all livestock) clothing industry, laboratory testing and entertainment animals. They also focus on the indiscriminate and abusive killing of rodents, extreme cruelty cases, both wildlife and domestic animals. Through their investigative agents filming, writing, they are able to release this information to the public. PETA uses education, research, legislation, and other media to make everyone aware of the barbaric treatment of animals throughout the world. As advocates for all animals, I urge everyone to sign their petitions when available and share them. Many people recognize the severity of these barbaric actions, but many also choose to close their eyes and turn the other way. We are all "Angels of Kindness" and we were put here to "Save and Protect". Every legislator, official and organized government departments and those who kill with Malice our wolves, bears, lions, elephants, severely abuse our domestic animals, dogs, cats, and livestock will one day be judged on their thought content and direct action. HELP SPREAD THE WORD.. MAHALO... You will be amazed on reading material, videos and please sign where it is applicable, everyone's signature counts!!!! .. Oh yeah, the new T-Shirts our cool!!

"No life is more important than another, and no life is without purpose"
Hello to everyone,
The Animal Legal Defense Fund filed a lawsuit against Animaland Zoological Park, a roadside zoo with over 50 animals -- including tigers, bears, wolves, and monkeys -- kept in deprived conditions. Our investigators gathered extensive photographic evidence of animals suffering at Animaland, documenting the federal Endangered Species Act violations that bolster our lawsuit.“Baby,” the Siberian tiger pictured above, and “Bear,” a gray wolf, are just two of the animals that illustrate the inadequate care that the zoo is providing. ALDF is calling on Animaland to retire all of the animals at the zoo to reputable sanctuaries so that they can live out the rest of their lives in habitats that meet their physical and psychological needs. Sign the petition to urge Animaland to release its animals to sanctuary, and spread the word on Facebook and Twitter. Help spread the word! We are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for shooting and killing a German Shepherd named “Bo.” He was found shot and left in a ditch in Lafayette County, Wisconsin. This crime could potentially be treated as a felony in Wisconsin, and the Sherriff’s Office is taking the case very seriously. For more details, please visit our website. The Animal Legal Defense Fund, Performing Animal Welfare Society, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, and captive wildlife attorney Deborah Robinson have called for the U.S. Department of Agriculture to conduct an inspection of seventeen wild-captured African elephants, who were imported from Swaziland into Dallas in early March. Animal protection groups and conservationists worldwide vehemently opposed the sale and importation of the elephants in November 2015 when the permit application was before the United States Fish and Wildlife Services. Visit their website for more information on this ill-advised importation process. Join in May for the Animal Law Symposium in Los Angeles. From the basics of investigating and prosecuting cruelty cases to strengthening animal protection laws, the symposium will provide an overview of the treatment of animals in the criminal justice system, from crime scene to courthouse. Learn more about the symposium on their website, or get your tickets now. Thank you for supporting the work of the Animal Legal Defense Fund. We are able to litigate cases to free animals from roadside zoos like Animaland because of your support. Please help us continue to grow by forwarding this email to one person you know who cares about animals -- and include a short note at the top of your email explaining why you support ALDF. Thank you For the Animals

We just released the results of an undercover investigation, and we wanted our supporters to be the first to know. Our investigation focused on a dog breeder based out of New Mexico and the horrific conditions that the dogs live in. We could tell you more, but we think the footage from the investigation speaks for itself. Please take a few minutes to watch our video, and share it with friends and family on social media, or forward this email to people you know. Documenting and exposing the horrific conditions these dogs suffer is the first step toward getting justice for those kept in this cruel facility.
Earlier this month we scored a major legal victory that will free the tigers and lemurs held captive in ramshackle enclosures at the Cricket Hollow Zoo in Iowa. We’re overjoyed that our groundbreaking Endangered Species Act (ESA) lawsuit will result in freedom for some of the animals in this horrible facility. We’re currently negotiating with opposing counsel to place four tigers and three lemurs at accredited sanctuaries. If placement can’t be negotiated, we are prepared to file paperwork with the court to force the zoo owners to send their animals to sanctuaries
.Regarding the other animals, ALDF has filed a lawsuit against the United States Department of Agriculture for unlawfully rubber stamping Cricket Hollow Zoo’s license to operate each year despite a deplorable record of non-compliance with the Animal Welfare Act. That case is still in litigation. If we win, the zoo will have to close its doors
We started celebrating National Justice for Animals Week on February 21. Our supporters took action on a number of important issues with the goal of raising awareness about animal abuse, how to report it, and how to work within your community to create stronger laws to protect animals. Visit our action page tomeet Baxter, the National Justice for Animals Week mascot, to see our Top 10 Animal Defenders for 2016, and to take action to stop cruelty today!

We’re also pleased to announce that our lawsuit against the San Diego Zoo to free an elephant named Lucky will move forward. We know that a large number of our supporters have been following Lucky’s plight for a long time, and we’re happy to report that after studying the legal issues we presented, a judge ruled that our lawsuit had properly filed suit under the ESA -- a procedural but important step toward winning the case. The suit alleges that she is being “harmed” and “harassed” in violation of the federal Endangered Species Act because the Zoo confines Lucky alone, without another Asian elephant companion, in an enclosure too small to meet her needs, with little to no shelter from the sun, and on a hard, species-inappropriate substrate.

Center of Biological Diversity has filed suit to halt Wildlife Services' war on wolves in Oregon. This is a huge task and they need everyone's help..
The Center for Biological Diversity has gone to court to stop the government's killing machine, Wildlife Services, from shooting, trapping and poisoning Oregon's wolves. They need our help
to win.
Wildlife Services operates like a black-ops agency, carrying out a secret war with little accountability. Considering itself exempt from most environmental rules, the program kills as many as 3 million native animals a year -- in addition to wolves, it destroys bears, beavers, otters, foxes, prairie dogs, coyotes, mountain lions, birds and other creatures. Over the past 15 years it has spent a billion dollars to wipe out wildlife.
Help end this slaughter with your donation to the Stop Wildlife Services Fund.
Those at Wildlife Services are contract killers, always willing to do the dirty work of special interests, especially those in the beef industry and corporate agriculture, destroying wolves and other predators to appease ranchers and big-game hunters. They have no regard for maintaining the integrity of nature and no respect for the decades-old struggle to return wolves to their homes in the once-wild West.
We can end their secret war on wolves and other wildlife. Please help any amount to the Stop Wildlife Services Fund

Presently, cattle are languishing and perishing in the driest desert in North America, Nevada’s Gold Butte area. They are literally wasting away and suffering from starvation, while no one seems to care. It’s time for this to change.
Since the early 1990s, cattle have been left to fend for themselves in the desert after Cliven Bundy, a private rancher, lost his privilege to graze on federal public lands that belong to all Americans. This once- small herd of around 150 animals has grown to hundreds or more over the course of 20+ years and now badly exceeds the ability of the land to feed and nourish them. They range over an immense area about half the size of the state of Rhode Island. While the area is large, it only receives about 4 inches of precipitation a year and vegetation is very sparse.
Federal bureaucrats are not prioritizing the welfare of these poor animals, and the State of Nevada, which owns the majority of them as unbranded feral animals, is doing even less.
Please sign our petition to the federal and state governments demanding timely action be taken to provide for and remove these animals to a safe haven before the sweltering summer strikes. Nevada’s anticipated triple-digit temperatures and this drought-stricken area will pose more suffering for these animals soon. Also, please share this with your friends!

"Extinct is Forever" we must now take a stand as we are their "VOICE", we need to make it very clear that the Recovery Program now in the hands of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service needs to continue, and they must not give in to the cries of the politicians, ranchers and anti-wolf groups

We who have humanity in our hearts, we can make the difference of life or death to extinction....
U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is finally beginning to work on a recovery plan to keep them from extinction.
Urge the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service not to allow anti-wolf politicians to interfere with the recovery of the Mexican gray wolf. If we don't move forward quickly, these wolves are at risk of being wiped out completely.
